Back to Normal in Mumbai?
For the ordinary people of Mumbai life returned to some semblance of normality on Monday with the bustling and vibrant streets busy again. However there was also much emotion and fatigue evident after the events of the past days.
Businesses were open as normal while schools and colleges were back to normal. The railways stations and roads were crowded as before the attacks on five star Mumbai hotels and other locals. These sites such as the Chhatrapati Shivaji rail station, the Oberoi-Trident hotel and the Taj Mahal Palace hotel, were in many discussions as people discussed the attacks on India’s financial capital. On Monday the stock markets opened in the black but fell back during the day’s trade.
Perhaps things will never be quite the same in Mumbai?
