Mallorca’s Legendary Appeal
The Balearic Islands have long been a popular tourist destination. The island is sometimes referred to as Majorca in English, but Mallorca is the original Catalan and Spanish spelling. There are a number of forts on the island as well as La Seu Catheddral, Bellver Castle, and the monastery of Lluc.

Some of the 5 star Mallorca hotels are beach resorts offering easy access to the water and many private beach cottages can be rented by vacationers.
Combine the beaches with the lush interior of the island and you’ll find a variety of recreational activities to fill your days. Bicyling, sailing, and hiking are popular with tourists. The more adventurous can try their hand at rock climbing. Or simply spend time strolling through the quaint villages or the more modern cities on the island. There’s always something to see, buy, eat, or enjoy on Mallorca.
