Dubai, Something for Everyone

If it glitters in Dubai, chances are it really is gold. The beaches are pure white, the restaurants are spectacular.  Culture is on every street corner and the hotels Dubai UAE has built to accommodate travelers are among the most incredible in the world.  In the not do distant past, this city was a small town.  A sea-side village where pearl-diving was the big business.  But during the last twenty years this has become the playground of the world, the destination location for the rich and the center of international business and commerce.  Million dollar mansions not sit where the pearl divers once had their shacks.  Golf courses and multi-million dollar resorts now sit where before there was only beach.  And the city keeps growing.

And while this has become known as the of the ‘elite’ and most affluent in society, it has gained popularity for the fact that it does cater to all those from every economic level.  There are hotels and spas andresorts to pamper the wealthy.  But there are hotels and accommodations in the moderate to budget price range.  And all the stays are luxurious.  This is the same for the restaurants as well.  Every cuisine of the world can be found in this one location.  From high class fine dining to small eateries, the flavors remain just as intense and just as delicious.

Golfing is a year round activity in Dubai, but there are so many other activities to choose from.  Music and theater festivals are just about year round as well.  Some hosted by the hotels and others are international affairs such as the Jazz Festival that runs during the once a year Shopping Festival, an event where one may just literally find the deal, or deals, of their life.  Outdoor activities are endless, and include swimming and scuba diving, to balloon rides and wind-surfing.  And gaining popularity are trips to Palm Island, the series of man-made islands designed in the shape of a palm tree.  The engineering and construction of these islands alone is a marvel, and they offer a true island getaway, complete with the amenities and opportunities for fun and entertainment that the mainland Dubai offers.  In this city the options have truly become endless.
