Mallorca Butterflies

There is an uncanny sense of mystery on the Balearic Islands, having been a host to numerous civilizations for thousands of years.  The history here is dizzying, where the Roman influence merge with the Moorish, and combine with the contemporary European touches, which make it a spectacular place for visitors.  It has a very lively social scene as well, appealing to the young travelers looking for an all-night party with fantastic beaches.  There are also many spectacular activities that children will enjoy here, too, with caves to explore and beaches to enjoy.  It’s a place where tourists come expecting nothing less than the best.  Balearic hotels are plentiful, offering sumptuous accommodations to please the guests searching for a haven in the middle of heaven.

These are some of the area’s finest hotels, insuring that your days will always get off to a splendid start, in a perfectly luxurious setting where hospitality is the primary concern.  And they do hospitality very well here, offering fantastic meals, excellent workout facilities and glorious spas, and a host of amenities to keep you very pleased, and ready to enjoy the islands refreshed and rejuvenated.  There is always something interesting to see in Mallorca.  Splendid performing arts companies come through here to entertain and provoke response from audiences from around the world.  Visual art is in splendid shape, with the island’s exquisite sensibility and taste, as well as the sizable community of artists making their homes here.

The music is another thing altogether.  It’s hard to avoid electronic music in the Balearics, and once you get the idea of the rhythm and the way the music shifts, there’s no reason to avoid it.  It’s absolutely happening here, and it continues to evolve in new and exciting ways.  There are multitudes of DJ’s who come through here, and they’re always offering something new.  Case in point is The Silly Racoon and the Drunken Butterfly.  Based in Brooklyn, this is psychedelic music with an emphasis on the shifting nature of things.  He can move from Hendrix to Ska with an astonishing deftness, and a fantastic sense that this thing is completely out of control, and the good news is, it is.
