The Palm Beach Maritime Museum is another place of interest for the vacationing sightseer or business traveler who has some free time. The museum is located on four different sites, which are in close proximity to one another, and you’ll want to check with them for information on the ferry’s schedule. There is plenty to see for the person who loves all things ship related. A few of the more poignant items on display are uniforms found in perfect condition recovered from the sunken Battleship Maine that went down in Havana Harbor. The command post and bomb shelter built on Peanut Island for President John F. Kennedy is another example of the museums many attractions.
